NSW Government 2023 Start Strong fee relief at South Hurstville Kindergarten
15 December 2022
The NSW Government is providing fee relief to families through the Start Strong Affordable Preschool initiative as part of the Early Years Commitment. From January 2023, families with children who are at least 3 years old on or before 31 July 2023 enrolled at South Hurstville Kindergarten, may save up to $4,220 each year.
Fee relief can only be received from one early childhood education service.
As a result of the changes to the preschool funding model by the NSW Government, Council will conduct a review of its fee structure in 2023. This may result in changes to the daily fee schedule.
This service will be open between 8:30am and 4:00pm on Monday Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 8:00am to 4:00pm on Wednesdays. Preschool fees, as listed below, will only apply to Wednesdays.
Our After Care Service between 4:00pm and 5:00pm will continue but, will need to be pre-booked a week in advance via email.

Our Beliefs
We believe that children are competent and capable individuals, who function within a socially driven community of family, peers and educators. This belief guides our practice in the provision of a developmentally appropriate, balanced programme which focuses on all areas of development, positive self esteem, social, emotional, physical, cognitive and language.
Our Objectives
We recognise that learning is a life long process and aim to provide an early childhood experience that is positive for both the child and their family within the pre-school years.
