Georges River Council has partnered with Service NSW to simplify the process for locals to set up a café, small bar or restaurant through the launch of the Easy to do Business program.  This is a free service for business owners that offers specialised advice from a ‘Business Concierge’ who will help you to navigate the complexities of starting or growing your business.

Realise Business

Supporting the Georges River area, the Realise Business team of highly experienced advisors have decades of business knowledge and success across a range of industries.  Realise Business can help your business through:

  • A free 4 hour session with an advisor through the NSW Government’s Business Connect Program
  • Ongoing practical support which includes highly subsidized business advice from an accredited advisor
  • Access to events and networking opportunities designed to improve your business

NSW Small Business Commissioner

The NSW Small Business Commissioner’s office helps businesses to operate as professionally, efficiently and successfully as they can by:

  • Serving as a neutral party in mediation and dispute resolution between small businesses or between a small business and a larger one or between a small business and government
  • Providing high quality business advice and advisors with access to world class tools
  • Speaking up for small businesses within government

NSW First Program

Destination NSW delivers the NSW First program to assist tourism businesses around the State to develop, promote and sell their tourism products.  It includes face to face workshops and online webcasts that offer ‘how-to’ insights on a range of topics for the tourism industry, with events to be added to the calendar throughout the year.
