At the 2021 Census 46% of people in Georges River were born overseas with the top five countries being China, Nepal, Hong Kong, Philippines and Greece.

At the 2021 Census 34.1% of the resident population stated that they had a Bachelor or Higher Qualifications, 10.5% had Diplomas or Advanced Diplomas and 14.8% of the population had trade qualifications.
