Council public car parks

We have a number of commercial car parks throughout Hurstville and Kogarah.

Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), Bluetooth technology (ZipBy App), Pay and Display systems are used across Council car parks.

For a completely automated and hands-free experience, we recommend you download the ZipBy App before entering any access controlled car park to allow easy access. 

For details on parking locations and what these changes may mean to you, refer to the tables below. New fees and charges will be applicable to all the below mentioned car parks. You can view the cost of Council parking on our fees and charges page 71 to 74.

Please note: MPS (Mobility Parking Scheme) permit holders receive an additional 1.5 hours free parking on top of the existing 0.5 hour free parking (2 hours free in total per vehicle, per day) in the access controlled car parks. This is subject to validation.
The two hour validation needs to be pre-arranged via ZipBy App and approved by Point Parking.

MPS permit parking in the above-mentioned open-air car parks is available at no charge when the MPS permit is displayed clearly on the dashboard of the vehicle and is used to transport the individual to whom the permit is issued.
