IMPORTANT NOTICE

Explore each step of the Development Application (DA) process below.

Step 1
Find out if your Development Application requires approval.
Step 2
Examine policies. Learn which policies and rules apply to your development.
Step 3
Seek advice on preparing your DA and supporting documentation.
Step 4
Prepare plans and drawings. Review the checklist matrix and guide to ensure you have the correct documentation.
Step 5
Prepare a Statement of Environmental Effects.
Step 6
Complete the required documents.
Step 7
Submit your application with required soft copy documents. Also, check fees and online tracking.
Step 8
Find out about the next steps after your DA has been lodged.
Step 9
Assessment and determination of your Development Application (DA) by Council.
Step 10
Review and appeal of Council's decision if required.
Step 11
Construction phase. This includes obtaining a construction certificate if your proposal involves building work.
Step 12
Bond release and long service levy.

 

POST-CONSENT REQUIREMENTS

Some consent conditions need Council to review or verify a document. You can't move to the next stage of your project until this is done.
