Council advertises public notices on this webpage to keep our community informed about a proposed action or decision affecting your area. 

In addition, Council places items such as on draft plans, projects, policies and documents on public exhibition to provide opportunities for members of the local area to comment and give their feedback.

Public notices are exhibited for 12 months unless they have a clear expiry on the notice of information to the community. All public notices are archived and previous notices are available for the community to access by contacting media@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au.

  • Removal of Phoenix Palms, King Georges Road, Beverly Hills

    Four Phoenix palms will be removed from the central traffic island of the main shopping area on King Georges Road, Beverly Hills. Removal is currently scheduled for Monday 9 March and Tuesday 10 March 2026.
