Council seeking community input and feedback on Merv Lynch Playspace

01/09/2023

The playspace at Merv Lynch Reserve is set for an extensive upgrade and Georges River Council is seeking community input and feedback to guide the process.

The upgrade aims to make the space more enjoyable, accessible, and enriching for families within the community.

Council received suggestions and ideas for the upgrade and is seeking a second round of feedback to ensure we are aligning with community expectations.

A design consultant is currently developing the concept for this playspace, utilising the initial feedback to inform the design response for an outcome that is unique to the site and reflective of the Georges River Council area.

Georges River Council Mayor Nick Katris said “I am incredibly excited about the Merv Lynch Reserve playspace expansion. Our community deserves a playspace that reflects its vibrancy and spirit.

“I encourage everyone to continue sharing their vision for our local places and spaces.”
