Refugee Week in Australia this year runs between 16 – 22 June and is a time for all Australians to learn, reflect and celebrate the experiences and contributions of Refugees. This year’s theme is ‘Finding Freedom: Family’ and aims to shed light on the power of family.

Join Georges River Libraries for our special Refugee Week themed story time for 3-5 year olds and their carers. Join us as we read stories, promote awareness, and celebrate the experiences and contributions of refugees.

• All materials and equipment will be provided. 

• ​For participants under the age of 16, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program.    

• If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue. 

• If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces and repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations, bookings may be refused in the future. 
• ​The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
