Councillor Elise Borg is serving her second term on Georges River Council. She was elected Mayor of Georges River Council in October 2024. She was first elected as a Councillor in 2021. In September 2023, she was elected Deputy Mayor.

Her working life has been in the corporate world of advertising and marketing.

Councillor Borg lives in Beverley Park and has three kids who attend local schools.

Councillor Borg is passionate about representing the community. She believes in the principles of fairness and equity to inform decision-making. Councillor Borg believes open spaces should be preserved for future generations.

Councillor Borg represents Council on the Southern Sydney Regional Organisations of Council (SSROC).
