Profile and information
Councillor Leon Pun is serving his first term on Georges River Council. He was first elected as a Councillor in 2024.
He has a Bachelor of Science in IT from UTS and a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales. Cr Pun is a solicitor admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW. He has over 10 years of experience running his own IT consulting business. He has worked for local members of parliament and is currently an adviser to the federal government.
A lifelong resident of Kingsgrove, Councillor Pun attended Our Lady of Fatima and De La Salle College, both at Kingsgrove.
Councillor Pun has built strong relationships in the community, connecting with fellow small business owners and residents alike. His commitment to the people of Hurstville Ward stems from both personal experience and a desire to make the area a better place for all. He is dedicated to revitalising Hurstville.
He is committed to promoting greater transparency in Council’s operations. He wants residents to have a meaningful say in the development of their suburbs.
He is a member of the Assets and Infrastructure Committee.
