Profile and information

Councillor Kathryn Landsberry is in her third term on Georges River Council. She was elected as Georges River Council’s inaugural Deputy Mayor in 2017. She was re-elected in December 2021, and most recently held the position from September 2022 to September 2023.

She also served at Kogarah City Council from 2004 to 2016 and was elected Deputy Mayor from 2007 to 2008.

During this time, Councillor Landsberry chaired several committees. She was also an active member of all Council working parties.

Councillor Landsberry grew up in Blakehurst. She has lived in the Georges River area for most of her life and has raised her family here. She has maintained strong connections with residents, sporting clubs, and community groups. She has been committed to the rebuilding of Carss Park Pool after it closed in July 2019.

Councillor Landsberry is Chair of the Community and Culture Committee and is the Councillor member of the Georges River Council Sports Advisory Committee.
