Council is renewing the Vanessa Street Multi Courts in Beverly Hills. The renewal aims to improve safety, quality and usability of the facility for community members and local sporting groups. The work will include:
- resurfacing two synthetic courts
- replacing the court perimeter fencing mesh
- installing new pedestrian access gates
To complete the work, the multi courts will be temporarily closed from Monday, 9 November, to Sunday, 13 December 2026.
Work will take place from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. No work is planned on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays. Access to the construction area will be restricted to authorised workers.
Access to neighbouring properties will be maintained during the work. Nearby residents may notice construction noise from machinery, equipment, and vehicles. There may also be contractor and delivery vehicles near the site, along with temporary barriers.
During the closure, Council will move current bookings to other sports facilities when possible. Council staff will contact affected user groups directly to coordinate alternative arrangements.
Community members who want to book can visit Council’s Bookable online booking platform to see other available facilities.
The courts are set to reopen on Monday, December 14, 2026. This depends on the weather and construction conditions.
We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding while these improvements are completed.
