The Open Print Exchange showcased hundreds of prints made by artists from around the world created by utilising a tiny 3D-printed printing press.

From professional printmakers to those artists experimenting with printmaking for the first time, this exhibition showcased the possibilities of printmaking to the wider public whilst also uniting the global printmaking community to engage with accessible ways of creating work on paper.

This is an Open Press Project travelling exhibition.

High School Excursions (this event has passed)

Enrich your high school group's educational journey with an exclusive opportunity to engage in a curated conversation with the exhibition's curator, offering a first-hand glimpse into the intricacies of the printing process.

Recommended for Years 11 and 12.

Cost: $6.50 per student (minimum of 10 students for a booking). Note: A printing demonstration may be available at an additional cost.
Duration: approx. 1.5hrs.

Exhibition Opening - Open Print Exchange (this event has passed)

Baby Explorers - Valentines Day (this event has passed)

Baby Explorers: Special Grandparents Day Session (this event has passed)

Each ticket entitles a parent, a grandparent and a baby for this intergenerational session, which will include a guided tour of the Open Print Exchange exhibition!

Open Day - Open Print Exchange (this event has passed)

Join us for an Open Day filled with activities for all ages from printing demonstrations and tours of the exhibition to family friendly activities. The ‘Open Print Exchange’ exhibition showcases hundreds of prints made by artists from around the world created by utilising a tiny 3D-printed printing press. Join a 15-minute tour of the exhibition followed by a printing demonstration at: 10.30am, 11.45am, 1.15pm and 2.30pm.

Create contemporary cyanotype prints with artist Marina Mavritsky. Be inspired by the Open Print Exchange exhibition and learn the traditional technique of cyanotype printing on fabric to create your own unique artwork. Two sessions available.

A small print of a Christmas beetle. Join artist Heather Davidson over two consecutive Monday evening sessions to learn the basics of drypoint etching and explore the Open Print Exchange exhibition. Be sure to book into both sessions to see your drypoint etching come to life!
