Events are held in Georges River Council parks and reserves all year round. To help organisers plan their events, Council have created a step-by-step guide. This guide shows you how to apply for permission to hold an event in the Georges River Area.
If your event has food stalls or mobile food vehicles, follow these extra steps one week before the event:
-
Site Plan: Send a site plan showing where each food stall or mobile food vehicle will be set up. Send the site plan to ehadmin@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au.
-
Temporary Food Premises Attendance List: Fill out the Attendance List and include the temporary permit number for each stall. Send the form to ehadmin@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au.
Every food stall or mobile food vehicle trading in Georges River Council area needs a Temporary Food Premises Permit. You can apply for a permit by filling out the Temporary Food Premises Permit Application Form. The permit is a one-off for the life of the business unless the conditions are breached.
Council already have a large list of food stalls and mobile food vehicles with current permits, which can make your planning easier.
If your event has stalls or mobile food vehicles, Council’s Environmental Health Officers may inspect them. This ensures they follow all food safety laws and standards.
Thank you for your feedback.
