Georges River Local Environmental Plan 2021

A Local Environment Plan (LEP) is a legal document which controls land use and development in a local government area.  A LEP contains information such as land use zones, building heights, heritage items and local conditions, such as landscaping.

The Georges River Local Environment Plan (LEP) 2021 came into effect on 8 October 2021.

A list of amendments to the Georges River LEP 2021 can be found on the amendments to Georges River LEP 2021 page.

The Georges River LEP 2021 includes all changes proposed by two separate planning proposals: the exhibited draft GRLEP 2020 and LEP21.

Further information is provided on the background to the Georges River LEP 2021 page.
