The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is a group of up to 15 young people aged 12–24. They help Georges River Council see what’s important to young people in our community. Members give advice and help to plan and volunteer at programs and events. They also speak up for the needs and interests of their peers.
The YAC meets monthly and supports Council staff to make sure youth voices are heard and acted on.
