Makers & Manufacturers: The industrial history of St George highlights the untold stories of the industrial history of the St George region. Using historical material from the Hurstville Museum & Gallery, and loaned items from public and private collections. The exhibition sheds light on little known aspects of the local economic and business history from the early 19th century through to the 1970s.

This project is supported by Create NSW's Cultural Grant Program. A devolved funding program run by The Royal Australian Historical Society for the NSW Government.

Official opening night: Makers & Manufacturers: the industrial history of St George

Makers & Manufacturers Collage Workshop

Explore the industrial history of St. George while creating unique collages in this hands-on workshop with guidance from Kubi Vasak, an experienced collage artist from Sydney Collage Society. This event is for adults only.

Hand Drawing Glass Workshop

Be inspired by the Makes & Manufacturers exhibition and learn the technique of hand-drawing on glass. At the end of this workshop, you will take home your very own decorated 280ml glass!
