Skin penetration, public pools and spas, cooling towers, and warm water systems.
 
Under the Public Health Act 2010, all owners and operators of the following premises and systems are required to notify Council:

• Skin penetration premises — before any procedures are carried out.

• Public swimming pools and spa pools.

• Warm water systems — when installed.

• Cooling water systems — when installed.

Council must also be notified within 7 days of any changes to business or premises details.

Retail Skin Penetration Business 

• New Retail Skin Penetration Business - You are opening a new skin penetration premises.

• New Skin Penetration Business at Home - you have approval and are starting a new Skin Penetration business from home.

• Taken over a Skin Penetration Business - You have taken over an existing skin penetration business premises.

• Your business details have changed - email ehadmin@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au.

• You have sold or closed your skin penetration business - email ehadmin@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au.

Public Swimming Pool and Spa 

• New Public Swimming Pool/Spa - You are opening a new public swimming pool or spa.

• New Swim School Run from Home - you have approval and are starting a swim school from home.

• Taken over a Public Swimming Pool/Spa - You have taken over an existing public swimming pool or spa.

• Your business details have changed - email ehadmin@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au.

• You have sold or closed your pool or spa - email ehadmin@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au.

Cooling Tower / Warm water system

• NSW Health Approved Form 6 - Notification of installation or change in particulars then email the completed form to ehadmin@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au - Use this form if:

  • You are registering a new cooling tower/warm water system.

  • Your details have changed, you have decommissioned.

  • You have decommissioned your cooling tower or warm water system.

  • You are no longer the person looking after the cooling tower/warm water system.

• Email ehadmin@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au if you are submitting one or more of the following forms: 

  • Approved Form1 - Risk Management Plan.

  • Approved Form 2 - Audit Report.

  • Approved Form 3 - Monthly Report.

  • Approved Form 4 - Notification of reportable test results.
