Summary


The former Hurstville City Council entered into a Planning Agreement pursuant to section 93F of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 with East Quarter Hurstville Pty Limited. The Planning Agreement is in connection with a development application (DA) at 93 Forest Road, Hurstville (Lot 2 in DP 270611), which was determined by the Sydney East Region Joint Regional Planning Panel (JRPP).

Description of the Agreement

Under the Planning Agreement the developer is required to provide the following public benefits:

  1. Landscaping and associated works outside the Land to the value of $400,000
  2. Landscaping and associated works at Kempt Field, to the value of $350,000
  3. Monetary contribution to Hurstville Public School, in the sum of $185,198.25
  4. Public access to plaza spaces and landscaped park areas within the development site.

The total value of the works and contributions made under the proposed VPA is $935,198.25.

Dates of notification of the agreement

The agreement was publicly notified from Friday 23 September 2011 until Friday 21 October 2011.

Date the agreement was entered into

The Planning Agreement was executed on 13 December 2011.

Georges River Council and East Quarter Hurstville Pty Limited.
