This is a Council led event.
12/08/2025 - Hurstville Aquatic Centre.
Georges River Council and Disability Sports Australia are hosting Abilities Unleashed Kids! A free, fun and inclusive one-day event connecting children with disabilities to local sport.
Children aged 5-18 years living with sensory, physical and intellectual disabilities are invited. This multi-sport event empowers kids to explore adaptive sport and active recreation opportunities.
On the Day
Participants will be split into smaller class groups (maximum 20) upon registration. After a welcome at 10.00am, they will rotate across 4-6 stations. Activities will use adaptive equipment to suit the participants. The stations will be run by specialised coaches with the support of students and community organisations.
The formalities of the day will finish at approximately 1.00pm. Participants will need to bring their own snacks and lunch for the breaks.
