Exhibition Opening: The Eternal Garden - Beric Henderson
This is a Council led event.
24/05/2025 - Hurstville Museum & Gallery
Join us in the Dragon's Lair Gallery at Hurstville Museum & Gallery for the official opening of The Eternal Garden by Beric Henderson.
Artist Beric Henderson will share his unique vision in The Eternal Garden, an imagined paradise of the mind – a place where life and beauty is created, and humans live in harmony with nature. In a world of confusion and turmoil don’t we all yearn to connect with such a place?
This exhibition of paintings, drawings and photographs is inspired by an artist-in-residency undertaken at Carss Bush Park in July-August of 2024. The works on display will include unique nocturnal photos of the park, unusual 3D paintings on Perspex, and small drawings. Beric is an established artist with a long exhibition history and with works held in various institutional collections in Australia and overseas. This exhibition will feature never-before-seen artworks and will be sure to inspire.
The opening will be attended by a guest speaker, UNSW Nexus Fellow and design historian Dr Mark Ian Jones.
