Free, fun digital skills sessions for seniors!

Join your friendly library staff at Clive James Library, Kogarah, for free and fun digital skills sessions for seniors! The program aims to help seniors with little or no digital experience develop skills and confidence in using technology for socialising, accessing services and conducting personal business.

Tech Savvy Seniors is a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra providing free technology training to seniors through NSW public libraries. Sessions are held Wednesdays from 15 October to 5 November from 10.30am to 12.00pm and include sessions on Cyber Safety, Social Media, and Video Calling.

Over 30,000 seniors have been trained in more than 100 NSW public libraries since 2013.

This event is suitable for ages 60 years and over.

Experience and Equipment

No experience required. You can bring your own device for assistance or follow along on the library’s laptops or iPads.

More Information

  • Participants must be aged 60 or older.

  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.

  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.

  • The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
