Oatley Library

Spring into learning a new life skill with Georges River Libraries. If you’ve ever wanted to create practical art, embroidery as embellishment is for you!
 
Join us for this half-day workshop where you will learn basic stitches in a supportive environment, working towards a completed embroidered tote bag to show off to your friends.
 
Learn how satisfying it is to say ‘thanks, I made it!’ and inspire your world with us these holidays. Suitable for 12-17 year olds.

This program is being repeated at multiple locations over the duration of the school holidays. Due to the popularity of our programs, please book for one location only. Customers who book for multiple locations will be advised that their spot will be allocated to customers on the waiting list. Spaces are limited so bookings are essential.

• No experience necessary.
• All equipment and materials will be provided, and you get to take everything home at the conclusion of the workshop.
• For participants under the age of 16, parent and/or guardian contact details must be provided at the time of booking.
• If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.
• If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
• The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
