Intro to Gel Printing Workshop: Explore texture, colour and play through printmaking!

Join us for a relaxed, hands-on introduction to gel plate printing—a playful, process-based art form that lets you create layered, one-of-a-kind prints using a soft gel plate and acrylic paint.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

  • Best practice for setting up your creative space to create mono-prints with a gel plate.

  • Use simple tools and natural materials like stencils, string, and leaves to make unique prints.

  • Experiment with positive and negative space, and how to build layers with colour and texture.

  • Learn best practice for cleaning and maintaining gel plates.

You will have time to follow your curiosity, explore & experiment different techniques, and leave with a delightful collection of prints.

For adults. This event is suitable for ages 16 years and over.

No experience needed — for beginners. This is a small group workshop — all materials and equipment will be provided, limited spots available.
