This is a Council led event.

Oatley Library.
11/10/2025 - 31/10/2025

Explore 120 years of Oatley’s iconic community landmark.

Explore the 120-year history of the Oatley School of Arts building—now Oatley Library—through an exhibition featuring historical photographs, documents, and community stories. Open 11 to 31 October 2025 in Oatley Library. Free entry during library opening hours, Monday – Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 10am-1pm, excluding public holidays.

This free exhibition celebrates the remarkable history of the building that began as Oatley’s first community hall and became home to Oatley Library in 1971. Originally constructed in 1905 and named the Oatley School of Arts, the building has been a focal point of local life for generations.

Wander through a self-guided exhibition of photographs, documents and personal stories that capture the evolution of the building and its role in the community over the past 120 years. Whether you're a long-time resident, history buff, or newcomer, you’ll enjoy exploring how the Oatley School of Arts building has served the community across generations.
