The Kingsway Care Annual Gala Dinner is a night of celebration, reflection, and community, marking a 30 year legacy to support those experiencing homelessness and 10 years of Platform 9.

The evening features:

• Inspiring keynote speakers.

• Live entertainment.

• A seated dinner experience.

• Connection with community leaders, partners, and passionate supporters.

More than a milestone, this event is a fundraising opportunity to ensure we can continue providing safe nights, crisis support, and dignity to those who need it most.

Dress code: Smart casual.

About Platform 9: A Decade of Dedication to Positive Impact
Established in 2015, Platform 9 has been a safe landing place for individuals and families facing domestic violence, homelessness, and life-altering crises:

• Safe Nights – In the past year alone, we’ve housed and supported 287 guests, including 195 women, 64 children, and 80 men.

• Therapeutic Care – Since 2021, in partnership with the Big|Sister Foundation, we’ve delivered weekly therapeutic sessions to over 512 individuals.

• Collaborative Impact – We’ve helped launch the first domestic violence refuge in the Georges River area and created new crisis accommodation options for single men in South East Sydney.

As part of the evolution, Kingsway Care has been a cornerstone of support, addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by our community:

• Housing Solutions – Over 2,100 individuals, including 1,217 women, 533 men, and 536 children, have found safe accommodation through our services.

• Youth Empowerment – Through the Southern Cross Kids Club, we've positively influenced the lives of over 240 children who have experienced trauma.

• Community Connection – Our Seechange Op Shop and monthly community dinners provide essentials and meaningful connection for those doing it tough.
