Chemical CleanOut

The Chemical CleanOut is an event which allows residents of the Georges River area to safely dispose of their unwanted chemical waste for free. 

Only household quantities of chemical waste is accepted (20kg or 20L), except for paint. Up to 100L (in 20L containers) of paint is accepted.

Accepted Waste

Unaccepted Waste

Acids, alkali materials, car batteries, motor oils, fuels and fluids. Domestic bin waste.
Fire extinguishers and gas bottles. Tech waste or e-waste.
Hobby chemicals, pool chemicals, paints and solvents. Furniture or household appliances.
Fluorescent tubes. Commercial waste.
Herbicides, pesticides and poisons. Asbestos.
