Step 7 - Lodge the applications

All Development Applications need to be lodged online via the NSW Planning Portal. You can do this from the location of your choice.

You need to:

  • Include a PDF copy of all the required plans and supporting documents.

  • Obtain the landowners consent.

Your application won't be submitted until we confirm it's complete and correct. You will also need to have paid the full fee. Once we review your application and check that all the required information is included, we will inform you of the fees for payment.

Once your application is officially submitted, it will be available to view on eTrack.

Document preparation

Applicants are no longer permitted to lodge paper copies of documents. Should Council need to print copies of any document a printing fee may be charged.

All documents are to be supplied in digital format as PDF documents via the NSW Planning Portal. The plans should be to scale (1:100 @ A3) and rotated to landscape. Black and white plans need to be 300 dpi and coloured plans can be at a lower resolution.

Photos and photomontages may be provided as JPEG images.

Online Application Tracking

DA applications can be found in Online Application Tracking.

Please note: documentation with an application can be accessed as per the GIPA Act. This excludes floor plans and internal layouts.

Fees and payments

Fees are based on the estimated cost of development. They also consider the number of lots for subdivisions.

You can pay in the following ways.

  • By Credit or Debit Card via phone (02) 9330 6400.

  • Mail by cheque.

  • Payment at our Customer Service Centre. You can pay by cash between 8.30am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.
