Georges River Council is inviting the community to help shape the future of Riverwood Local Centre through the development of a new Master Plan.
Riverwood is a vibrant local hub that serves a diverse and growing community, with a mix of homes, shops, services, and transport connections.
The Master Plan will guide Riverwood's growth and development over the next 10-20 years, providing a strategic framework to support housing, increase employment opportunities, and enhance public spaces.
Community feedback is essential in shaping the Master Plan for Riverwood Local Centre and understanding the current use and long-term aspirations for the area.
Council would like to hear from residents, businesses, and people who work in or visit Riverwood to share their ideas for Riverwood and explore how the area can be enhanced to meet future needs.
Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said, “Council is committed to ensuring that Riverwood continues to develop as a vibrant and well-connected centre for our community.”
“I encourage all members of our community to have their say during the consultation process. Your feedback will play a crucial role in shaping a Master Plan that supports sustainable growth and enhances the quality of life in Riverwood.”
Feedback is welcomed through a short feedback form. Workshops are also scheduled to provide a platform for residents and businesses to share ideas and insights.
