Construction is expected to begin soon following final determination of MOD2024/0156. The work duration will depend on staging and approvals. We’ll provide updates as timelines are confirmed. The mixed-use development involves demolition and building retail spaces with housing above them.
Subsequent modifications have been approved:
- MOD2023/0151 - Changes to the building footprint, façades, internal layout, and unit mix.
- MOD2024/0156 - Council officers agreed on further changes. Amended plans are being finalised for review.
Key traffic management requirements include:
- Truck Access: All construction vehicles must enter and exit via Hudson Street. Wright Street is not approved for truck movements.
- Traffic Control: Pedestrian signage and traffic controllers on site.
- Parking Restrictions:
- Double parking is not allowed.
- No parking in No Stopping/No Standing zones.
- No parking across neighbouring driveways.
- Works Zones: Any proposed Works Zones need approval from Council's Traffic Committee.
