The single lane bridge over the rail line at Oatley is one of a number of community assets in Georges River that is owned by Transport for NSW but has shared responsibility for the maintenance. This is often because the State Government owns the infrastructure and Council maintains surrounding areas.
 
This is the case for the single lane bridge.

The maintenance of the wire mesh fencing and bridge is the responsibility of Transport for NSW (TfNSW).

To report issues with the wire mesh fencing and bridge you can call the general enquiries number 131 500 or submit feedback online via the Transport for NSW website. 

Georges River Council is responsible for maintenance of the footpath, the guardrail on approach to the bridge, and road surface.  
 
To report issues with the footpath, guardrail and road surface you can call (02) 9330 6400 or log it online using Council’s Log It Fix It work allocation tool that will assign it straight to the Depot staff to investigate.
