Georges River Council is inviting the community to provide feedback on the draft Delivery Program, Operational Plan and Resourcing Strategy.
These documents are required under the NSW Integrated Planning and Reporting framework. This framework guides how councils plan for the future and report on progress.
The Delivery Program is Council’s four-year plan. It turns the community’s long-term vision into clear actions for the current Council term. This includes work on roads, improving town centres and parks, protecting the environment and delivering community programs and facilities.
The Operational Plan is a detailed, one-year plan that sits under the Delivery Program. It includes specific projects, service levels, annual budget, and fees and charges for the next financial year.
The Resourcing Strategy outlines how Council will manage its people, assets, digital capability and financial resources to deliver the priorities of the Delivery Program.
Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said, “I encourage residents to review the draft Delivery Program, Operational Plan and Resourcing Strategy and share their thoughts. Your feedback helps us make decisions that reflect our community’s priorities.”
The public exhibition period is open until Wednesday 27 May 2026.
