Join friendly Tech Savvy Seniors tutors at Hurstville Library, for free and fun digital skills sessions for seniors in Mandarin! The program aims to help seniors with little or no digital experience develop skills and confidence in using technology for socialising, accessing services and conducting personal business.  
 
Tech Savvy Seniors is a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra providing free technology training to seniors through NSW public libraries. Sessions are held Wednesdays from 7 October to 28 October from 10:30am to 12:30pm and include sessions on Smartphones, Staying Safe on the Internet, Avoiding Scams, and Shopping and Banking Online. 

Over 30,000 seniors have been trained in more than 100 NSW public libraries since 2013.

• These sessions are for people aged 60 and over.

• ​All materials and equipment will be provided, but you can bring your own device if you wish.

• If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.

• If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces and repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations, bookings may be refused in the future.

• The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
