Georges River Council, in partnership with the St George Domestic Violence Committee, will hold a Candlelight Vigil to mark National Domestic Violence Remembrance Day.
The Vigil is an important event for community members to come together to honour victim survivors and reflect on our shared responsibility to take action and raise awareness to end domestic and family violence.
Domestic Violence Remembrance Day is part of Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month in May. The month is dedicated to raising awareness of the social and personal impacts of domestic and family violence, highlighting the need for change, and supporting those affected by violence.
