Small Business Month: South Sydney Networking Night
This is a Council led event.
22/10/2026 - Mortdale Community Centre.
An evening of business networking, local insights, conversations and genuine connections with Sydney South's business community.
Join Georges River Council for an evening bringing local business owners, Council representatives and community leaders together to connect, share ideas and build stronger relationships across the local business community.
Held as part of NSW Small Business Month, the Sydney South Business Networking Night is designed to create more than just another networking opportunity.
It’s your chance to meet other business owners from across Georges River and Sydney South, make useful new connections, and speak directly with Council representatives about the resources and local support available to businesses in the area.
On the night, you can expect:
-
Structured networking designed to make introductions easier and help you meet new people and make useful new connections.
-
Opportunities to connect with business owners from a range of industries.
-
A panel discussion featuring local business voices sharing practical experiences, challenges and lessons.
-
Opportunities to meet and speak directly with Georges River Council representatives.
-
Open networking and time to continue the conversations most relevant to you.
-
A chance to share ideas, experiences and perspectives on the issues affecting local businesses.
Whether you’ve been in business for years, are just getting started, or simply want to become better connected with the local business community, you’re welcome to join us.
You don’t need to arrive knowing anyone. The evening has been designed to make it easier to start conversations, meet the right people and leave with a few useful connections worth following up with.
Come along, meet the people behind businesses across Sydney South, connect with Council and be part of the conversation about supporting local business. Food and refreshments will be provided throughout the evening, giving you plenty of time to connect and continue conversations in a relaxed setting.
