Reconciliation Week - Storytime at Carss Bush Park Playground

During Reconciliation Week, join Aunty Calita Murray for Storytime at Carss Bush Park Playground to learn about the world’s oldest continuing living culture.
While you are at the playground, take the opportunity to explore the engraved artworks at the playground that acknowledge the Bidjigal people, who were the first inhabitants of the land in Carss Park, and represent the transfer of knowledge between generations.
This event is suitable for primary aged children with their parents or guardians.
Please book a ticket so that we can notify you if the program needs to be moved indoors. In the event of adverse weather, the story time will take place at the Carss Park Lifesaving Hall which is also located at Carss Bush Park.

Limited parking will be available within the surrounding streets. We encourage you to walk, cycle or catch public transport where possible.
The program for this event will be held outdoors so we encourage all attendees to wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water, sunscreen and a hat.
This is not a gender-specific event.
This event is suitable for primary aged children. Children attending must be supervised by parents or guardians at all times.
