Pride Penguin Pebble Painting at Kogarah Library (12-17 years)

Roy and Silo. Tango and Tanuzi. Harry and Pepper. Sven and Magic. Electra and Viola. What do these power couples have in common? They’re all penguins, and they’re all part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Speaking of penguins, did you know that when they find a Really Good Rock, they bring it back to their partner as a gift?
 
Georges River Libraries are embracing our inner penguins this Pride Month at Pride Penguin Pebble Painting for 12-17 year olds! Paint one pebble for your favourite person (being your own favourite person is a totally valid choice), and one for the library.

If you want to be guaranteed the pick of the pebbles, book a place, but drop-ins are also welcome!

  • All materials and equipment will be provided. 

  • For participants under the age of 16, parent and/or guardian contact details must be provided at the time of booking. 

  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue. 

  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces and repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations, bookings may be refused in the future. 

  • The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
