This is a Council led event.
26/07/2026 - Gannons Park.
Join Georges River Council's Bushcare team for our biggest event of the year!
The aim of our National Tree Day event is to restore a section of Sydney Hinterland Enriched Sandstone Bloodwood Forest in Gannons Park by planting native trees, shrubs, and groundcovers!
Located off Boatwright Avenue next to the carpark, this project will introduce carefully selected plants to boost resilience and biodiversity in the local area.
No experience needed, all tools are provided. Just bring your gloves, hat and water and help us plant trees for the future!
