National Simultaneous Storytime 2026

This is a Council led event.

27/05/2026 - Georges River Libraries.

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, family day cares, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.

This year's book is Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson, Adrian Lloyd and Jake A Minton; Cheer for Luna Roo as she finds her inner strength on the field in this energetic underdog story. Join Georges River Libraries for a week of fun as we celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime 2026 with readings, live streaming, goal scoring and crowd roaring!
