Job Shift: Returning to Work at Hurstville Library

This is a Council led event.

16/06/2026 - Hurstville Library.

Ready to return to work? Build skills, confidence, and direction with Job Shift at the library.

Returning to work after a break can feel overwhelming. Join us at the library for a free Job Shift workshop to learn how to take the next steps towards employment.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to navigate common challenges like employment gaps, updating your resume, refreshing skills, and restating your job search. Learn how to utilise free library eResources like LinkedIn Learning to help you build skills, boost confidence, and strengthen your job applications.

We’ll cover how to:

  • Clarify direction.

  • Refresh skills.

  • Update materials.

  • Apply and network.

This program is for anyone re-entering the workforce after caregiving, illness, redundancy, retirement, or a career change. No previous experience necessary. All materials and equipment will be provided.
