Job Shift: Practice Interviews at Clive James Library
This is a Council led event.
23/11/2026 - Clive James Library and Service Centre, Kogarah.
Build confidence and sharpen your interview skills with help from Georges River Libraries.
Job interviews can be nerve-wracking, but preparation and practice can help you feel more confident.
Join us for a practical Job Shift workshop focused on building your interview skills. We’ll explore how to prepare for an interview, including researching the role, thinking about your experience and preparing for common questions.
You’ll learn how to use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure clear and effective responses to behavioural interview questions.
Most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to put your skills into practice. Working in pairs, you’ll take turns answering interview questions and providing constructive feedback, helping you become more comfortable talking about your skills and experience.
Whether you’re returning to work, looking for a new opportunity or simply want to feel more prepared for your next interview, this session will give you practical tools and the opportunity to build your confidence in a supportive environment.
This event is suitable for ages 16 years and over.
