Introduction to the Media Lab - Studio Induction

This is a Council led event.

31/03/2026 - Hurstville Library.

Did you know that Hurstville Library is equipped with a fully functional Media Lab that can be used by members of Georges River Libraries?

From photography and video to 3D design and animation, the Media Lab has a fully equipped photography and video studio with a range of studio lighting equipment.

We have a range of software accessible through the Media Lab PCs which includes the full set of Adobe Creative Cloud applications as well as Davinci Resolve and Audacity. We also have a huge selection in our Digital Tool Library and Musical Instrument collections that include DSLR Cameras, GoPros, handheld audio recorders and podcasting kits.

Join us for a Media Lab induction and learn how to safely use the equipment, book the space and realise your creative goals.

In this session you will learn:

  • Simple studio lighting set-ups.
