Get Crafty: Gel Plate Printing: Image Transfer at Hurstville
This is a Council led event.
05/05/2026 - Hurstville Library.
Gel plate printing: a beginner-friendly workshop where image transfer becomes a little bit magic.
In this hands-on workshop, we'll break down the process into simple steps so you leave knowing exactly how to do it yourself.
You'll learn how to choose the right images, which paints to use, and how to work through the full process; from preparing your image to pulling a finished print. Expect colour, experimentation, and a few happy surprises along the way.
You'll learn how to:
-
Choose images that work well for transfer.
-
Select and apply the right type of paint.
-
Create an image transfer using a gel plate.
-
Pull a finished print.
This event is suitable for ages 16 years and over.
No experience needed – everything is provided. Beginner friendly for adults. Just wear something you don't mind getting paint on.
