The Georges River Libraries Great Big Book Sale returns on Saturday, 30 May 2026.

Join us for a massive one-day event and explore an extensive range of pre-loved literary treasures to add to your personal collection. Discover books, DVDs, toys and more at extremely affordable prices.

This year’s Book Sale will be held in the newly built Peakhurst Park Community Centre, on Hedley St, opposite Peakhurst Park close to Riverwood Station (15 min walk, 9 min by Bus). Bring the whole family and enjoy a fun day out with face painting and craft activities to keep everyone entertained.

Pick up fiction, non-fiction and children’s books for as little as $4 each or 10 items for $20.
