Canoe Clean Up @ Salt Pan Creek

This is a Council led event.

18/04/2026 - Salt Pan Creek Boat Ramp.

Join City of Canterbury Bankstown, Georges Riverkeeper and Georges River Council for a guided on‑water clean‑up of Salt Pan Creek by canoe or kayak! Enjoy a scenic paddle while helping remove litter from the creek and surrounding mangroves.

Canoes or kayaks, safety gear, litter pickers, bags, gloves, and life jackets will be provided. Free water and soft drinks will be available after the clean‑up.

Important information:

  • For participants aged 14 years and over (anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).

  • Participants must have at minimum ability to swim and stay afloat with a life jacket and some kayaking experience.

  • Wear sun protection and clothing suitable for getting wet.

Parking available on Clarendon Road or Elwin Street (no parking at the boat ramp).

This event is part of City of Canterbury Bankstown's We Love our Rivers 2026 campaign, in partnership with Georges River Council and assisted by Georges Riverkeeper.
