Join us at our Youth Zone at Blackshaw Gould Community Pavilion this December!
Get collaborative and bring a friend to games night or take advantage of our free youth workshops. Learn from industry experts on the art of photography and craft your perfect mix with our Learn to DJ workshop.
These workshops are suitable for young people ages 12-17 years old.
Wednesday 3 December | Learn to DJ
Get your groove on and learn to DJ with industry expert Neil Ismail. Mix it up and scratch that creative itch in this introductory session, learning the basics of DJ tools, mixes and software and how to get hands on with mixing techniques.
Wednesday 10 December | Intro to Phone Photography for Teens
Take your phone pics to the next level with Elder! Join us for a hands-on creative session where you'll learn how to get the most out of your phone camera. Bring your own device and learn some tips and tricks from an industry expert to help you frame the perfect shot.
Wednesday 17 December | Games Night
Get your game on! Relax after exams and work together in a cooperative board game or a round of Mario Kart. Bring a friend or connect with new people and join in for an afternoon of fun and games.

For participants under the age of 16, parent and/or guardian contact details must be provided at the time of booking.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.

If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces and repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations, bookings may be refused in the future.
