This is a Council led event.

Our libraries have a huge range of resources and activities for everyone to enjoy, for free! Visit Hurstville Library between 3pm and 7pm to take a library tour, see a demonstration, speak to our friendly library staff about programs and collections, register or re-register for a free library membership, and spin our prize wheel for a chance to win fun library items.
Activities at Hurstville Library include:

Welcome Desk 3.00pm - 7.00pm: Meet our librarians, learn about services and collections, register or re-register, and spin to win!

Digitisation Station Demo 3.00pm - 4.00pm: See how you can preserve and share your treasured memories from VHS tapes, cassette recordings and film photographs with our Research & Community History librarians.

Library Tour 4.30pm - 5.30pm: Explore the library with a guided tour from our Outreach Librarian.

Media Lab Studio Induction 5.30pm - 7.30pm: Adults 16 years and over can learn to use the equipment in our Media Lab with our Media Lab librarian.

Conditions for prize wheel: Prizes are available while supplies last. Participants must register or re-register for a membership card, or discuss library services, programs, or collections with library staff to spin. One spin per person.

Unless otherwise stated, this event is suitable for all ages.

All equipment will be provided.

Please ensure you wear comfortable clothing that is suitable for physical activity.

For participants aged 12 years and under, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program. For safety reasons, one parent/guardian can only be responsible for a maximum of 4 children (1:4 ratio).

If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.

If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
