Media Lab: Make it Sound Better - An Introduction to Audio Editing

Learn the basics of audio editing using Audacity, a free open-source audio editor and recorder to kickstart your creative projects.
Whether you want to craft beats, perfect a podcast or create content, this is a chance to sharpen your sound.
This workshop is for beginners and will provide practical and creative tools to bring sound to life.
In this workshop, you will:

Learn the basics of recording, editing, and exporting audio.

Use tools like cut, copy, fade, amplify, and noise reduction.

Learn how to import audio files and mix multiple tracks

Discover how to export your project in various formats for podcasting, voice-overs, or music.

About the Facilitator:
Neil Ismail is a creative professional with over 15 years of experience in music production, video production, and storytelling. He has mentored aspiring DJs and producers as the former head instructor at DJ Warehouse Sydney, with many of his students achieving successful careers.
