Get Crafty: Hand-Embroidered Bookmarks at Hurstville Library

Stitch a little bird to life and take home a bookmark you made by hand.
In this workshop you'll learn the basics of hand embroidery and use those skills to stitch your very own bird-themed fabric bookmark. We'll work through the key stitches together, then you'll decorate and adorn your bird in your own style.
Slow stitching is a technique worth having in your creative toolkit and known for its calming and relaxing effect. A great technique to discover or continue to explore.
In this workshop you'll:

Stitch a bird-themed fabric bookmark.

Decorate and adorn your bird in your own style.

Leave with a finished handmade bookmark to keep or gift.
No experience needed — everything is provided.
