Learn to get started with podcasting with media professional Joseph Corr. Covering everything from idea development to production and publishing, this hands-on session is perfect for beginners and those looking to refine their skills.

In this workshop, participants will learn about:
Pre-Production:

  • Idea curation and scripting.

  • Artwork and pitching.

Production:

  • Voiceover skills.

  • Recording (sound and video).

Post-Production:

  • Audio and video editing, AI tips and tricks.

  • Uploading/publishing, ad insertion, and the basics of Spotify for creators.

  • Growing your audience through social media and Patreon.

No prior experience is required – just bring your laptop, smartphone, and headphones and get ready to start your podcasting journey!

Joseph Corr has worked in media for over two decades, with experience at Disney, ESPN, Foxtel, and Channel 10. Currently, he is a Video Podcast Producer with 9Podcasts and Channel 9, specialising in content creation and production. With extensive industry knowledge, Joseph brings practical insights and real-world expertise to help you create and grow your own podcast.
